Stabbursdalen Resort

Stabbursdalen Resort is beautifully located where Stabburselva meets the Porsangerfjord, 15 km north of Lakselva, in the heart of Finnmark. Stabbursdalen Resort has 34 comfortable cabins from five stars, restaurant, chapel and great barbecue cabin with all rights. We also have lovely tent pitches right next to the river, as well as pitches for caravans with electricity. We have a sauna and jacuzzi right by the river and we have a sanitary building with shower, kitchen and toilet. Stabbursdalen Resort has wireless internet over most of the property. There is smart TV in the cabins Stabburs and Njakka, as well as the mini-apartments. You log in with your own private username/password on Netflix, HBO, Viaplay, Sumo etc. The NRK app is open and has a lot of good features.

We are “squeezed” between the Nordic region’s largest wetland area for migratory birds and Stabbursdalen National Park. The National Park Center is close to us.

We serve our guests in the restaurant, the grill cabin or the lavvo. We can also take on small or large events/conferences. Join fjord or river rafting or go on other organized trips. We have many partners who can help you have an exciting stay: equipment rental, guidance and ready-made programs from organizers. We collaborate with the national park center and have great premises for courses and conferences.

The place is ideally suited as a base for trips in Finnmark. Take a trip to Stabbursdalen National Park to experience pure nature. The beautiful Porsangerfjord is considered the world’s northernmost archipelago with a unique bird life and fascinating flora. Go hunting in Europe’s last wilderness. Use Stabbursdalen Resort as a base for fishing for salmon in the rivers or for fishing for large char and trout in many of our beautiful lakes. We have a self-service salmon smokehouse and space where you can gut and salt the fish after the fishing trip. We also offer the option of freezing the catch.

We have two fishing licenses for Stabburselva which give you the right to fish in zones 1 and 2 on the land owners’ association/FeFo’s stretches. These can then be bought at the nature house for up to 2 days at a time. Then you won’t have to take part in the draw. However, everyone gets a card in zone 2 in Stabburselva. We also have 2 cards for Lakselva. You choose the zone yourself.
