River boat safari with fishing and Sami culture
Join Odd Arne on a guided trip up the beautiful Kautokeino river. The tour starts with a guided tour of Finnmark’s oldest silver smithy, Juhls Silver Gallery, which is a “must see” when you are in Kautokeino. The tour then continues up the river to Odd Arnes lavvu, where traditional Sami cultural dissemination and joik await. There will also be opportunities for fishing along the way and the Kautokeino river offers several different types of fish.
Nice to know: The weather in Kautokeino in summer time can vary from +25 and brilliant sun to slightly colder weather. Bring windproof clothing and mosquito repellent.
