Paddling trip on Kárásjohka

Fancy a leisurely paddle trip along the Kárásjohka river? The river meanders calmly down the landscape. The landscape is characterized by sandbanks along the river’s edge and ridges covered with pine and birch. Life on the river is characterized by those who live by it. Local salmon fishermen, riverboat drivers, families bathing and other paddlers are some of the things that characterize everyday life in the summer along Norway’s best salmon waterways.

We meet at the Scandic hotel in Karasjok. There you will receive a brief introduction about the trip. We then drive up to the starting point a few kilometers from Ásebákti, about 10 km from Karasjok to the Karasjok bridge. The trip takes about 2-4 hours.
