Waste points and rest areas in our locations:

The environmental station for Tana and Nesseby is co-located with the main facility at the cattle farm at Gassanjarga (ØFAS)

Tana:

• Tana bridge, east side of the river, emptying of cassette at automatic machine. Free. Open all year round
• Polmak approx. 16 km from the center of Tana Bru towards Nuorgam (Finland).
• Kaldbakken’s approx. 30 km from the center of Tana Bru towards the Tanaestuary.
• There are also rest areas and waste points along the FV890, E6 and FV98.

Nesseby:

• Gornitak, picnic area and toilet. It is located on the northern side of the fjord Varangerfjorden on the main road E75 east of the village Varangerbotn, and it is part of Norway’s National Tourist Route scheme.
• Mortensnes approx. 20 km towards Vadsø.
• And also other waste points and rest areas along the E75 and E6.

Kautokeino: 

• Rema 1000 in Kautokeino on the south side of the building.
• Emptying station at rest area between Suolovuopmi and Maze. free, toilet only open in the summertime.
• Aidejavri, rest area located on RV93 9km from the Finnish border, free, toilet, open only in the summertime.
• Nieida gorzi (Pikefossen), Located by Rv 93 north of Kautokeino town towards Alta. There is a rest area with parking by the waterfall. Or at points along the E45 and RV92. Free, Toilet only open in the summertime.

Karasjok:

• On RV92. Mesta at Avjovargeaidnu, just below Karasjok Camping.
• Valjohkka rest area, 47km from the center of Karasjok towards Tana.
• Waste points and rest areas along the E6 and RV92.

Porsanger:

• Coop Extra Lakselv for special waste, glass etc.
• Russenes, rest area, on the E6 48.6 km from the center of Lakselv, 3 km from Kistrand. toilet, free.
• Rest area 6 km from Lakselv center towards Olderfjord.
• Otherwise in other points along RV98 and E6.
